The Evening & Weekend Campus (EWC) program assists students in earning a UA degree outside of regular business hours. Partnering with academic departments, EWC features courses offered after 5:00 p.m., allowing students with day time weekday obligations to complete their degree. Major and minor courses of study are available through evening and distance coursework. EWC also offers easily accessible advising services.
The Evening & Weekend Campus is a part of the Office of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach. The Office of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach (CEAO) provides exceptional credit and noncredit educational opportunities to people seeking university-level instruction and enrichment outside the scope of the traditional campus experience. Providing the best in lifetime learning across the age spectrum, CEAO offers courses and programs for professional, academic, and personal advancement that help strengthen and advance the outreach mission of The University of Arizona.
A wide variety of courses are offered through the online distance-learning program, AZUN. Undergraduate and graduate courses from the three Arizona universities (ASU, NAU, UA) are available through AZUN. If you are currently attending classes at the UA you do not need to apply to either of the other two institutions to take classes there. Transferring credits from one participating AZUN institution to the other is easy. Each of the universities in the AZUN network has tables published on the Course Applicability System (CAS) website to show equivalent classes at the other two institutions.
